Pilkeas (Saint All-Savior)

4 km from Jermuk towards the Arpa-Sevan water conduit, there is a chapel carved into a rock. It is said that once, a shepherd tending his flock noticed one lamb was missing. Leaving the rest of the flock, he went to search for the lost lamb. Seeing the lamb standing on a rock crevice, the shepherd approached it and suddenly slipped and fell down. After falling tens of meters, the miraculously saved man built a chapel within the rock, which to this day is visited by many people for prayers to heal the sick.
